We have released Dozent LMS version 1.0.2 with some cool and necessary updates. But before jumping into the details, we would like to extend our gratitude to all our users. We wouldn’t have been at this stage if it’s not for them. So THANK YOU all for believing in us.
Now here’s the list of things that we updated in this new version of WordPress LMS plugin:
New: Role column in instructors
In version 1.0.2, we have catered a completely new feature. You can now see the roles of each of your instructors from the Dozent LMS WP dashboard. This will help you to get more details about your instructors and categorize them according to their contribution.

Fixed: Settings URL from the plugins list

How to update WordPress plugins
If you are a Dozent LMS user, the updates are waiting for you on your WP dashboard.
To update the plugin, go to Updates under WP Dashboard. From the list, mark the checkbox beside Dozent LMS and hit Update plugins at the bottom.
If you don’t want to do this everytime we release an update (and we release updates pretty frequently), you can just enable the auto update feature. To do that, go to your installed plugins list and hit Enable auto-updates beside Dozent LMS. By doing so you can make sure that all our future updates are installed automatically on your system.
Dozent LMS VS Dozent LMS Pro
If you are a new user and thinking about which version you should choose, let us help you a bit with that. You can create a complete eLearning website with the free version of Dozent LMS. However, the Pro version comes with some added features that make your courses more professional.
Enrollments: The enrollments addon lets you enroll students manually from the backend. You can enroll them to courses if needs be.
Lecture Preview: This addon lets you add a preview to your video lectures. This way your students can get an idea of what’s inside and can make an informed decision whether to enroll in the course. This helps you convert your leads more.
Prerequisites: The prerequisites addon helps you add one or more courses as prerequisites of a particular course. This is especially helpful in case you are offering some advanced level courses.
